At St. Joseph School, our goal is nothing short of the transformation of our students as learners, leaders, and contributing members of their communities. To do this, we must provide our children with the best possible educational program. Recognizing that such growth is only possible with your help, St. Joseph School emphasizes the need for a vibrant and engaged community.
Gifts of any size are a vital part of the St. Joseph School mission to create a faith-centered community that educates and inspires students to reach their God-given potential.
While tuition covers approximately roughly 75% of the operating budget of the school, additional resources are necessary to carry this dynamic education forward into a new era and to nurture the unique potential that each child carries, by cultivating classroom, community, and building initiatives.
Any gift in any amount helps. Donate today or make a pledge. The Annual Fund runs the calendar year and launches on the first day of Catholic Schools week in late January and ends December 31. Donations are tax-deductible, as allowed by law. There are many ways to give to the Annual Fund including:

Generations of children have benefited from the gift of a Catholic education from St. Joseph School. That gift has come from many sources: tuition paid by committed parents; significant annual contributions from St. Joseph Parish; vigorous annual fundraising; the dedicated efforts of the school's volunteers, staff and teachers; and support from alumni. The purpose of the endowment is to strengthen and sustain, for years to come, a rich faith-centered academic experience for all students at St. Joseph School.
A separately incorporated organization, the St. Joseph Endowment Fund provides an average annual grant to St. Joseph School of $250,000 which enables dozens of children to continue this legacy. The interest earned from the principal helps support student tuition, teacher-enrichment programs and pays for special academic programs and opportunities in perpetuity, advancing the St. Joseph School mission to educate and inspire students to reach their God-given potential for many generations to come.
Endowed scholarship funds can be established with a gift of $25,000 or more and proceeds will be distributed when the fund reaches $50,000 or more. Endowment gifts are invested, keeping the principal intact and distributing a portion of the return on investment to provide scholarships and tuition assistance to benefit St. Joseph School students. Donors may continue to contribute to an endowed scholarship increasing the impact of the scholarship on the St. Joseph School student body.
Endowment Funds are dedicated to three specific areas:

The school provides children and their families with a foundation for academic achievement, discipline, character building, and spiritual development. For more than 100 years, St. Joseph School has educated the whole child and provided a caring community for families. You can make a difference in the lives of children here at St. Joseph School by including a gift in your estate plans.
Planned gifts are charitable gifts made now as part of your financial plan which help you benefit now and St. Joseph School later. Leaving a legacy gift to St. Joseph School allows for the continuation of your generosity for years to come. The goal of planned giving is to help you plan your estate and charitable giving in a way that benefits you, your family and a charity. There are many ways you can make a planned gift to St. Joseph and enjoy tax and income benefits.
The Endowment for St. Joseph School was incorporated in January 1979 to ensure that St. Joseph School remains open, excellent and accessible. Our mission is to provide tuition assistance to needy families and budgetary assistance to targeted programs like world languages and our Learning Resource Program, and support for programs that build teaching excellence and faith formation. We are achieving these goals by building endowment funds that will provide tuition assistance and program funding.
You can make a difference by including a gift in your estate plans to St. Joseph School directly or to the Endowment for St. Joseph School. We leverage your support and make sure that assistance reaches families and programs that need it.
